Of presidents and storms

February 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment · City Library, Main Branch, News, West Branch

***Update: The West Community Library is closing today, February 13th, due to flooding.***

It was a wicked nasty journey this morning*, but we all made it safely and are proud to announce that despite the weather, the Library is open today.

Please be sure to note, however, that we will not be open on Monday, February 18th, in celebration on President’s Day. We will look forward to seeing you, though, on Tuesday the 19th at 8:30am in both library buildings.

* On a personal note, many thanks to the three kind Manchester Police Officers who pulled my aged car out of a snowbank this morning. You all made me happy to live in such a nice city. -Lichen

Thank you. I love the library and these personal touches and glimpses into the personalities of the staff make it so much more a part of my life.
