GAMES! Day 48

Like video games but hate spending the money? Even on rentals? Your friend, the Manchester City Library, is here to help. We’ve started a collection of PlayStation2 and Xbox 360 games, and like all of our materials, they’re free for you to borrow. While we’re starting small–only 25 games*–we plan to build the collection based on your comments and suggestions (or even donations, if they’re in good condition). We want to suit a large range of interests, so we have a variety of games, from sports to movies to arcade games. Because we want Everyone to enjoy our games, we’re only carrying those with an “E” rating.

The fine print:

  • Games are issued for 1 week only
  • Games cannot be renewed
  • Late games accrue a fine of $1 per day
  • The borrowing limit is 2 games per card
  • The games are currently available for checkout at the Main Library only, they can be ordered and sent to West, however, to be picked up.
