Manchester City Library

Summer is fast approaching. Soon the kids will be out of school. Wondering what would make an easy day trip. How about checking out one of Museum Passes. We have a wide variety of passes offering different discounts available each day during the summer. These are available to any Manchester City Library card holder who is 18 years and older with a fine free card. These passes that are available on the Main Library:

American Independence Museum – Exeter, NH Admits 2 adults and 2 students for free. Children 6 years and under are free.

Canterbury Shaker Village – Canterbury, NH Admits adults at a cost of $6.00, children’s 6-17 years at a cost of $3.00. Limit 2 people per pass.

Children’s Museum of New Hampshire – Dover, NH Admits 4 people at $2.00 each.

Currier Museum of Art – Manchester, NH Admits 2 adults for free. Children’s under 17 years are free.

Manchester Millyard Museum – Manchester, NH Admits 4 adults for free. Children under 6 years are free.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center – Concord, NH Admits 4 people for free, up to a maximum value of $36.00. Good for exhibit only. Planetarium shows are an extra $3.00. Not valid for special events.

Museum of New Hampshire History – Concord, NH Family pass which allows 4 adults or 2 adults w/children or grandchildren.

Peabody Essex Museum – Salem, MA Admits 2 adults at a cost of $5.00. Children 16 years and under are free.

SEE Science Center – Manchester, NH Admits 2 adults and 2 children.

Strawbery Banke – Portsmouth, NH Family pass that admits 2 adults and 4 children.

Sports Museum – Boston, MA Admits 6 people per visit.

Zoo New England – Boston, MA Admits 2 adults at the cost of $2.00, 4 children at the cost of $2.00. Can be used at either Stone Zoo or the Franklin Park Zoo.

These passes are available at West Manchester Community Library:

Museum of Fine Arts – Boston, MA This pass admits two people for a general admission fee of $5.00 per person. It also allows an upgrade to a special exhibition ticket for an additional $8.00 per person, on the same day only, subject to availability.

Museum of Science – Boston, MA This pass admits up for four people at a cost of $5.00 per person. It is good for general admission to the museum only, not for admission to the Omni Theater, the Planetarium, or combination tickets.

New England Aquarium – Boston, MA This pass admits up to four people at a cost of $8.00 per person. Normal admission fees are $19.95 for adults, and $10.95 for children 3-11 years old. Children under 3 are admitted free. Pass not available during July and August.
