telescopeLions, and tigers and telescopes, oh my!

The Manchester City Library is pleased to offer to our patrons the use of a new telescope! Spend an educational evening outside in your back yard and share the wonders of the stars and the universe with your family and friends. Trust me, this is something special that you can share and they’ll always remember the fun nights spent together outside when they saw the Big Dipper or the Pleiades for the first time!

When you come in to check out the telescope you will get the whole kit and kaboodle. The telescope kit includes 1 Orion StarBlaster Telescope; 1 laminated manual; 1 Sky and Telescope article; 1 organizational pouch; 1 telescope carrying case; 1 headlamp; 2 Starry Night discs; 1 National Audubon Society pocket guide; paperback copy Zoo in the Sky; and 3 cords attached to dust caps and related items.

The telescope may be reserved by calling the library at 624-6550 ext. 328; or going to the library catalog via our website at www.manchester.lib.nh.us.

We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the New Hampshire Astronomical Society Library Telescope Program for donating this telescope to the library.

~Yvonne~
