‘I spy with my little eye a blue microscope!’
Since hiding the Library Gnome was such a huge hit last year, we’ve decided to do something similar again. But this year, in keeping with the summer reading theme, Fizz Boom, Read!, we have hidden a blue microscope in the library somewhere.
Each week, it will be in a different spot in the library, hidden in the public areas.
When a child finds it, they should come to the children’s room reference desk to fill out on a piece of paper their name and phone number. Their name will go into a hat with all the wining names of those who have found it that week. The drawing for a weekly prize will be on Saturdays at the end of the day. That is when we will move it to another location. Good luck finding the blue microscope!
