Fall is coming fast; it is time to stock up on your new supply of reading materials, experiment with new recipes or just do something totally new and intriguing. You just never know what you will find! There is no cost to browse and see the possibilities on September 19th.
Manchester City Library’s $10 Bag Book Sale will take place on September 19th (Saturday), from 10 AM to 1PM in the Winchell Room on the lower level of the library at 405 Pine Street. Just bring empty average grocery bags (cloth or paper) and fill them up from the over 11,000 items at the sale. You will pay for your new treasures, at $10 per bag, as you exit the sales area.
We have an extremely broad range of materials at this sale for all ages and interests; although there are larger groups of fiction (hardcover and paperback), cook books and children books. We also have large print books, musical odds and ends, DVDs, audiobook cds and a few prints (individually priced).
All proceeds from the sale are used for library programming and projects.
