Happy Holidays!

December 5th, 2018 · No Comments · Books, City Library, Main Branch, News

It’s December, and that means the start of the holiday season.  No, not just Hanukkah (Dec. 2-10), Christmas (Dec. 25) and Kwanzaa (Dec. 26-Jan. 1).  Not even World AIDS Day (Dec. 1), Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day (Dec. 7), the Winter Solstice (Dec. 21) or Boxing Day (Dec. 26).  I’m talking the OTHER holidays:

National Cookie Day (December 4)

National Lager Day (December 10)

National Have a Bagel Day (December 11)

Ice Cream Day (December 13)

National Egg Nog Day (December 24)

National Fruitcake Day (December 27)

National Chocolate Candy Day (December 28)

Bacon Day (December 30)

Believe it or not, there actually is at least one special food/beverage day for every day during the month of December.  You can literally eat and drink your way through the entire month.  For more of these edible feasts, come in and take a look at the display we have set up celebrating these delectable days.

Happy Eating, and Cheers to National Champagne Day (December 31)!
