For the past 22 years, Bernice Buckley has been working at the Manchester City Library. For the first 10 years, she worked upstairs as a page. The last 12 years, Bunny has been a fixture in the children’s room. At the tender age of 90 years, Bunny will be celebrating another milestone. On June 20, she will be retiring from the library. When asked what she will do in her retirement, Bunny just smiles. She has so many plans; spending time with her family and friends, and of course, catching up on her reading. She will be greatly missed by all the staff and patrons. Don’t be a stranger!
Bye bye, Bunny
