Our first Guitar Hero Tournament season is underway for teens in grades 6-12. Compete at the library August 28th from 3:00-5:00 in the Winchell Room. Participants receive 25 points for showing up plus 50 points if they come in third, 75 points for second and the winner receives 100 points! The top three finishers after our December event will win prizes. For more information or to suggest a prize that you would like to win contact our Teen Librarian, Kate Norton. Registration for this event is required.

Hey, I would love to join the upcoming contest on August 28th, 2008. I am legendary at this game, and can do every song on expert on Guitar Hero 3. The funny thing is I noticed a requirement that you must be in 6th grade at least, and I will have my first day of 6th grade the day before the contest! What I would like to know is if this contest will be using guitar hero 1, 2, or 3. I hope I may enter and blow the judges away.

I have a great idea for a prize! Guitar Hero Areosmith is a popular new version of guitar hero that came out a little more than a month ago, and I’ve been dying to get the game for the Xbox 360. The game itself without the guitar controller is $60. Please let me know if this prize is too expensive in value and I will understand

At this point we are not planning an online tournamant. You are more then welcome to join us in person!
