On Saturday September 6th the Manchester City Library experienced flooding in our lower level. Due to this flooding all programs and meetings that were to be held in our Winchell Room and Auditorium have been cancelled. Luckily no library materials or equipment were damaged during this latest nature related event.
Please note that our Story Times will still be held in the Children’s room and our Thursday evening book discussion is being moved to our NH Room. We are planning on having our book sale as planned on September 13th.
My thanks to my staff, who stayed long into the night to assist with cleanup, our custodial services, ServPro and the city’s Facilities Division for their efforts on our behalf.
We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please bear with us as we continue the clean up and disinfecting of these areas of the library.
