I just got a letter from the Boys & Girls Club about this year’s Day for Kids. It was a HUGE success. The estimated attendance was …….(drum roll)……more than……4800 kids and adults! Now I know why we ran out of materials and candy. Mary, Deb and I knew we were busy, just didn’t think it was THAT busy. It definitely made the day go by very quickly. Wow!
They have already set a date for next year’s event. It will be on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. It is the third Saturday of September, not the second like before. I think we should participate next year.
