Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt in which players use a Global Positioning System (GPS) to locate hidden objects or containers, called geocaches, anywhere in the world. Cézanne will discuss the history of this relatively new sport, as well as the GPS equipment you’ll need, types of geocaches you may find, and how to prepare for a hunt. She’ll also show you how you connect with other enthusiasts, and pursue local caches here in Manchester. Copies of Cézanne’s book, Open Your Heart With Geocaching, will be available for sale following the program. For more information, please contact Steve Viggiano at 624-6550.
