Travel to China!

March 16th, 2012 · No Comments · Books, Children, City Library, Events, Main Branch, News, Teens

Going to China? Thinking about it? Maybe it’s on your bucket list of places to see. Don’t miss Travel to China: From Preparation to Immersion with Richard Ferland. Find out how best to plan for your trip, communicate with the locals, including the six phrases that will get you a better reception, and the three deadly sins that will not. Richard will also provide insight into the people, the climate, and the market, as well as share some survival essentials. The highlight of the presentation will be a slide show of Richard’s photography, taken during his extensive experience in China, having lived and worked there for a number of years. Richard is a National Association of Photoshop Professionals Member (NAPP), a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and proudly, a Merrimack Valley Camera Club Member, where he has received numerous awards, both locally and internationally. Whether you’re traveling to China, or simply want to see the country brought to life through the eyes and stories of someone who has, this program is not to be missed. Join us in the Winchell Room on March 20th from 7:00-8:15 PM for this wonderful discussion on travel to the far east. For more information, contact Steve Viggiano at sviggiano@manchesternh.gov or 624-6550 X323.
