Have you ever considered listening to books instead of reading them? I don’t have a lot of time in my day for reading. However, I spend about 2 hours a day in the car. Listening to Audiobooks (also known as Non-Musical Sound Recordings) has made my commutes much more enjoyable. Being able to listen to books on CD has made a huge difference in my book life. I’ve gone from reading a couple of books a year to listening to a couple of audiobooks a month. Another reason why Audiobooks work for me is that there is no downloading to portable devices or computer knowledge required. You can just pop the CD in your CD player and go.
Below are a couple of audiobooks I recommend:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling
A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin
Shanghai Girls by Lisa See
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Annie Barrows, Mary Ann Shaffer
The Distant Hours by Kate Morton
Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris
Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts
