Singer-songwriter Judy Pancoast will premiere songs from her brand new CD, Christmas with Mrs. Claus, in a concert and CD release celebration at the Manchester City Library Auditorium on Saturday, November 3 at 11:00 am. Christmas with Mrs. Claus features Mrs. Claus herself, inviting the listener in to her North Pole home while she bakes cookies, reads names from Santa’s Book of Good Girls and Boys, and shares the songs of her favorite singer, Judy Pancoast. From traditional Christmas carols to rollicking new originals, the album is bursting with the sounds of the season. Public Broadcasting listeners will recognize the voice of David Brancaccio on “Silent Night Meditation.” Two of Panocoast’s original songs from the ablum, “The Little Christmas Village” and “Santa Whatcha Got,” will be featured on the soundtrack of the forthcoming motion picture Christmas with the Dead based on a story by best-selling author Joe R. Lansdale. The concert will feature Pancoast singing songs from the new album as well as an opportunity for attendees to take pictures and purchase her new CD. All ages are welcome to join this celebration. Registration is not required. For more information, please call 624-6550 ext. 328.
