The Acting Loft is proud to announce their upcoming March production of Really Rosie, with book and lyrics by Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are) and music by Carole King (Tapestry). The stage production is based off of a series of books by Maurice Sendak, including The Nutshell Library and The Sign on Rosie’s Door. The show was first produced as a television cartoon special in 1975, and then was performed Off-Broadway in 1980, running for 274 performances. Join Rosie and her gang on Saturday, March 7th from 3:30-4:30 at the Manchester Public Library as they read some of Maurice Sendak’s books, sing songs from the show, and then join the gang onstage to play some theatre games. This event is free, and one lucky family will win 4 tickets to the Acting Loft’s opening night production of Really Rosie!
