To come before you so<br />
But I&#8217;ve found an ancient miracle<br />
I thought that you should know<br />
Listen to my music<br />
And hear what it can do<br />
There&#8217;s something here as strong as life<br />
I know that it will reach you.&#8221; -Rush &#8220;2112&#8243;</p>
<p>This week I&#8217;d like to mention a wonderful reference source of information on all things musical: &#8220;<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterlibrary/2612903285/">The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians</a>&#8220;. If you are searching for information on music, songs, composers, and musical styles you would do well to use this resource. &#8220;<a href="http://catalog.gmilcs.org/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session=1N1460N9R9914.34736&amp;profile=mcl&amp;uri=link=3100007~!400961~!3100001~!3100002&amp;aspect=Start&amp;menu=search&amp;ri=1&amp;source=~!horizon&amp;term=The+new+Grove+dictionary+of+music+and+musicians+%2F&amp;index=ALLTITL#focus">The Grove</a>&#8220;, as we call it, is twenty-seven volumes of musical bliss. From <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterlibrary/2649897783/">Beethoven</a> to jazz musicians to zithers&#8211;you can find it here. &#8220;<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterlibrary/2650790278/">The Grove</a>&#8221; is just one of the many wonderful music reference books available to you here at the library. So if you have a burning question relating to music please come in, <a href="http://manchesternh.gov/website/library/AboutUs/ContactUs/tabid/753/Default.aspx">e-mail us or call </a>and we&#8217;d be glad to help you.</p>
