The West Manchester Library is normally closed on Saturday but on May 19th the branch will have special hours from 9:30-2:30. We will also have a performance by the Granite State Clowns from 11:30-1:00 and a Bike Clinic sponsored by Goodale’s Bike Shop 10-1:00 which will offer safety and maintenance tips.

Mr. Mayor will be reading from and autographing his new novel, The Price of Malice, on Thursday, October 29th at 7:00 PM in the library auditorium. Copies of the book will be available for purchase, supplied by Gibson’s BookStore.

This event is free and open to the public.

Chicago Tribune has described the Joe Gunther series as “the best police procedurals being written in America.” Mayor is the 2004 winner of the New England Independent Booksellers Association Award for Best Fiction—the first time a writer of crime literature has been so honored—as well as a death investigator for Vermont’s Chief Medical Examiner, and a Deputy Sheriff for Windham County, VT.
