we are open

Yes, it might seem a tad bit early to be thinking about winter, winter parking, and winter snow emergencies, but we thought you might need this information. Hopefully not in the very near future!

Here are the Winter Parking Ban rules for the 2015/2016 Winter season:

The City of Manchester Department of Public Works would like to advise all operators and owners of all motor vehicles odd/even overnight winter parking will go into effect December 1, 2015 at 1:00 a.m. and will remain in effect until April 15, 2016.

As of December 1, 2015, parking will only be permitted on the odd numbered side of a street on odd numbered calendar month and only on the even numbered side of a street on even numbered calendar months beginning at 1:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. This means that you should park your car on the even side of the street during the month of December and you should park on the odd side of the street during the month of January, etc. etc.  If parking is presently allowed on only one side of the street during the day, parking will be permitted on that side of the street every night. In addition, there is no overnight parking permitted on the circular portions of dead-end cul-de-sacs. Those in violation of this ordinance will be subject to a $25.00 fine.
