Manchester City Library will be holding a $10 Bag Book Sale on January 30, 2016 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Winchell Room on the lower level of the library. The library is located at 405 Pine Street, between Amherst Street and Concord Street.

There will be over 11, 000 items for sale at this event. You would not believe how many options you have from the available books, audiobooks, DVDs, Musical CDs, 33 1/3 Long Playing records and other musical odds and ends! The materials are a mixture of donations and titles weeded from the library collection. The cost is just $10 per average size grocery bag (paper or cloth), which you will pay as you exit the sales area. Please bring your empty average size bags to fill up.

We have many, many books for all ages and interests including Children’s, Young Adults, and large print books (mostly fiction). There are fiction books, both hardcover and paperback; plus non-fiction subjects such as history, biography, cooking, crafts, social sciences, art, religion, philosophy, self-help, literature, science and nature, languages and other unique titles. Check it out!

All proceeds go to programs and projects at Manchester City Library.
