Election Mayhem

October 1st, 2016 · No Comments · City Library, Main Branch, News, West Branch

It’s hard to believe, but the Presidential election is less than a month away.  In the months leading up to this moment, you have probably been accosted by slanderous media reports left and right.  Perhaps you’ve considered leaving your party for the other, or maybe not even voting at all?

As citizens of this country, it is our right and duty to vote.  It’s easy to be discouraged by the barrage of negative coverage, but nonetheless, we have an obligation to be informed voters if we seek to bring about the change we so desire.  That’s why we, as information providers, want to make sure you have access to non-partisan information that will help you make an informed choice, based on reliable, unbiased facts.  Remember this:  the source matters.

In order to sift the good (i.e., accurate) information from the bad, we have compiled a list of unbiased websites to help you look at the facts objectively.  Stop in at the library and pick up one of our election bookmarks.  Do the research.  VOTE.
