Closing early (April 12@3:30) for the MCL Foundation Fundraiser

April 12th, 2017 · No Comments · City Library, Events, Foundation, Main Branch

The Main branch will be closing at 3:30 today, April 12th, in order to prepare for this evening’s Wine Toss.

Join the Manchester City Library Foundation for the 2nd semi-annual Wine Toss with beer and spirits too on Wednesday, April 12th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Carpenter Memorial Library’s newly renovated Rotunda at the Manchester City Library at 404 Pine Street, Manchester, NH! We’ll be tossing rings to hook a bottle to raise funds to help us renovate the main library’s children’s room in the near future.

Participation is simple! You will be able to purchase your rings once you arrive at the event. Once purchased, you will toss the rings at the bottles of wine set up across from you. If your ring lands on the neck of the bottle, it’s yours to keep! There will be reds, whites, and bubblies to compete for. You must, of course, be 21 or over to participate. Rings will be 3 for $10 or 7 for $20. Please note this event is cash or check only!

Light refreshments will be served while you cheer on your friends as they compete in the Wine Toss!

Thank you to our sponsors: Charter Trust, Ledyard Financial, Patch, Fitzgerald + Ward, Devine Millimet, St. Mary’s Bank, Insured Workers Pharmacy, and MacWilliam Financial!

The Foundation is actively seeking sponsorships for the event as well. If you are interested in being a sponsor for the event please contact the library and please RSVP to Mary Gallant at 624-6550 X3311 so we have a head count!
