Readers will explore fun and exciting events this summer as our Library presents “A Universe of Stories” summer library program. We are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Activities will include storytimes, crafts, science afternoons, makerspace activities, Legos, reading dogs, scavenger hunts, and special guests. All programs are free of charge and will be held at either library building. There will be weekly raffle drawings featuring 5-7 different prize bags that will include tickets to local family attractions. When you turn in your weekly reading record, you will be given a raffle ticket that you can place into bucket to win prizes from SEE Science Center, Candia Springs, Storyland, Lost River, Canobie Lake, Clark’s Trading Post, Butterfly Place, Currier Museum of Art, FunSpot, Krazy Kids, Children’s Museum of Dover, Polar Caves, Jay Gee’s Fun Center, Conway Scenic Railway, Mel’s Funway, Mount Washington Valley Children’s Museum, and many more.

The 2019 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through 5th grade. We have set a group goal of 4,000 hours to be read during the 9-week program. Will you help us meet our goal?
