Have you checked out our newest digital service, Kanopy, which offers
streaming movies?
There are 3 distinct divisions:
Movies: This includes documentaries, foreign films, local content, and
independent and feature films. Each month you get 5 play credits,
which are used up once you start watching a film. You have 72 hours to
watch a movie.
The Great Courses: Once you start watching a series, you get unlimited
access to that series for 30 days, and you do not use up any of your
play credits.
Kanopy Kids: Once you access this section, you get unlimited access for
30 days, and you do not use up your play credits. Kanopy Kids is a
tightly curated collection of the best programs for children aged 2-12,
launched in partnership with Common Sense Media, the leading rating/
review source for parents.
Two noteworthy features of Kanopy are:
Accessibility: Kanopy is the only platform to meet full accessibility
standards – (1) all films have captions and transcripts; (2) films are
compatible with visual impairment technologies; and (3) films provide
special disability settings for patrons.
Public Performance Rights: All content can be streamed in classrooms,
community groups, and other events.
And don’t forget about our other apps!
Hoopla: ebooks (including graphic novels), eaudiobooks, music, and
movies CloudLibrary: ebooks, eaudiobooks, Libby (through NH Downloadable Books): ebooks, eaudiobooks, and emagazines
