March 9th, 2020 · No Comments · Books, City Library, Main Branch, West Branch

The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease makes planning for the future more important than ever. Join us on March 26 at 6 pm where participants will have an opportunity to get their questions answered by an attorney who specializes in Elder Law. This program is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association and will cover information for families and individuals dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Topics covered will include: Making legal plans that fit your needs; Legal documents you’ll need and what they mean for all of you; How to find legal and financial assistance; Practical strategies for making a long-term plan of care; Tax deductions and credits; and Government programs that can help pay for care. To register, sign up on our library calendar, or call Becky White at 624-6550 ext. 3320.
