Black bears are a familiar sight to New Hampshire nature lovers, but sometimes they wander too close to humans in search of food. Backyard bird feeders, barbecue grills, dumpsters, and even pet food are attractive to a hungry bear. But, “A fed bear is a dead bear” more often than not. It’s up to us humans to take preventative measures to keep people and bears safe! Join New Hampshire Fish & Game Bear Biologist Andrew Timmins for a presentation about Bear and Human conflicts, and how you can live in harmony with New Hampshire’s iconic wildlife.
