Hi, How does one become part of this book club? And do you offer print books to read instead of e-books?

    Thank you

  • Yvonne

    Hello Janine,

The Brown Bag Book Club is run by Arlen Letourneau, a retired librarian. At this point, because of COVID the book club has been “meeting” online by messaging each other through e-mail. So to participate you need to contact Arlene Letourneau through e-mail to let her know you are interested in joining her book club. They are “meeting” tomorrow and will be getting the book for the next month (March) which is American Dirt. I’m sure she’d be thrilled for you to join the book club. I just spoke with the librarian who co-ordinates the reservations for book club books and she will be holding a copy for you if you want it. Please call the library to receive Arlene’s contact information. Thanks!
