April 4th through April 10th marks National Library Week with the theme of “Welcome to your Library.” It is a week to honor what libraries around our country do for their communities every day. As we celebrate this week in 2021, many libraries are once again opening their doors to the public, while still providing digital and virtual services, ever mindful of the pandemic we are still fighting and the recovering communities and people we support.
I wish to thank my staff, our Trustees, our Mayor, our Aldermen, our community partners and most of all our library users for your support and well wishes over the past year. We have a lot to be proud of this year as we celebrate National Library Week 2021.
