Join the Manchester City Library via Zoom on Thursday, July 15 at 7:00 pm to hear tales of fly fishing and talk about flies with local fly fisherman Rick Little. This program is great for fly fishermen and fly tyers, but will be of interest to anyone who loves the outdoors. It is designed to stimulate a discussion about what is a “favorite fly” and to get anglers thinking about the flies that they use and why. This fun, light-hearted program includes photos of flies, fishing locations, and outdoor scenery. Rick will share some of his favorite freshwater patterns and the experiences and stream-side observations that have contributed to making these flies his favorites. Earn points toward the Adult Summer Reading Program by attending this program!
Rick Little is an expert in the fascinating sport of fly fishing, with experience in New England, Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Upstate New York, and out West. He has been fly fishing since 1968 and has shared his knowledge with fish and game clubs, conservation organizations, and local communities for many years.
