Did you know that the ocean is home to approximately 240,000 known species of animals? Scientists estimate the total number of marine species, known and unknown, to be more than 700,000! This summer, test your knowledge of ocean wildlife with our Weekly Ocean Wildlife Challenge.  Each week during summer reading we will post a picture of a different sea creature in the library. Identify the animal and win a small prize!
