Keep us all from feeling blue.
Do you suffer from the chocolate blues? Don’t worry, for today is International Chocolate Day. The history of chocolate is unique; it can be traced back to the Aztecs. When chocolate was brought to Europe, it was considered a luxury item for royalty, and the elite of society. With time, chocolate was available to everyone. In 2020, Snickers was the most popular candy bar in America, also in New Hampshire too. Many of the library staff prefer chocolate with coconut, favoring Mounds and Almond Joy. This surprised me, I did not realize how much people like coconut. My personal favorites are Reese’s and Kit Kats. The library has cookbooks with recipes with chocolate, and books with chocolate titles. Come to library, grab a book from the display. Tell us what is your favorite chocolate bar?
