The Manchester City Library invites you to a hands-on lesson on seed starting. This program will be held on April 5, 2023 at 6pm at the Manchester City Library in the Winchell Room. Come learn how to start your seeds for spring!
There’s nothing like the taste of homegrown vegetables! The options and varieties of produce are endless when you start your plants from seed. Whether you’re new to gardening or a vegetable growing veteran, join us for an exciting hour of seed starting tips and tricks. You will also be able to start your own plant for this year’s garden!
Judith Taylor has been gardening for over 25 years! She is a graduate of the UMass Green School and has attended The Seed Savers Exchange Seed School. She has hands on experience with growing all sorts of perennials, fruits, and vegetables as well as landscape design. Her passion is to share her knowledge with new gardeners and exchange tips and tricks with those more experienced. She is using her teaching experience at many local universities to spread the word on seed starting, growing, and saving to inspire people to get hooked on gardening!
