Young adult fiction is usually written and marketed for teens from 13-18 years old, but that doesn’t mean that no one else can enjoy them! There’s lots of reasons to continue reading YA literature into adulthood. They span every subject and genre from suspense to romance to fantasy, and cover a variety of difficult or complex issues in very accessible ways.
There are definitely tons of great YA books that adults can enjoy too, but this month’s recommendations list highlights the Science-Fiction and Fantasy standouts!
