Our celebration of the New Hampshire Humanities 2023 Big Read title The Bear continues this month with a focus on nature.
Check out our display in the Rotunda for nature-themed materials, including The Bear. Feel free to take information on Big Read happenings around the state in November.
Check out information on over a dozen Big Read events this month happening all over the state. There are a wide variety of events to choose from such as:
- Book discussions of The Bear. Learn more about Andrew Krivak, New Hampshire author of The Bear
- Discussions on landscape changes caused by glaciers
- Sky watches
- Full moon gatherings
Can’t get to the library? Here’s how to find out about Big Read events around New Hampshire in November by going to the New Hampshire Humanities website. Simply go to the Big Read page and choose Join A Big Read Event and scroll to the bottom to “load more events” and view all of the great events for November.
You can also pick-up information and bookmarks courtesy of The Nature Conservancy. Per their website: “The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.”.
