The 20,000th book was given out during a stop at the Manchester Preschool at Bishop O’Neil center, one of dozens events each year for the service. Are you still collecting books for the book mobile?
Hello Shirley,
Yes, we do accept donations for the Bookmobile with the understanding that the books may or may not be added to the Bookmobile depending upon several factors decided by the children’s services librarians. If they are not added, then the books might be used for the children’s summer reading program or added to the library book sale. I hope this helps.
