On the first Sunday of August, we celebrate National Sisters Day. No one really knows the origins of this day, but it marks the bond of love and friendship shared between sisters. Honor this day by spending time with your sister(s), or if that is not possible, check out an inspirational Christian fiction book with a sisters-inspired theme. Read about sisterly bonds during regency times, Amish sisters, sisters journeying to a new land, or sisters in ancient times. There are many different sisterly stories to explore.
