Manchester City Library 3rd Annual Staff Art Show

Visit the library this summer to check out the beautiful art made by our talented staff! Art will be on display throughout the library from August through the end of September to coincide with the Manchester Citywide Art Festival. From watercolors to embroidery, cross stitch to colored pencils, we have a range of styles and mediums to peruse.

Story: This piece was created for my intro to drawing class at NHTI. The project was focused on creating shadows and highlights while only using black Sharpies to create tiny dots. This piece took close to 20 hours to complete over the course of two weeks with sketching and stippling.
