Did you notice that Hoopla has returned to Manchester City Library? There have been some changes to Hoopla since we last made the platform available, so read ahead to get to know these changes or to meet Hoopla for the first time!

You may already be familiar with the no wait, instant borrow format that Hoopla offers, but did you know there is a very select collection of popular titles made available to you? These are available using Hoopla Flex credits and are available on a One Copy/One User basis (like you would see on Libby or CloudLibrary). This means that you may find a holds queue for that title, but as Hoopla is only available to MCL patrons, your wait should be shorter than that for Libby or CloudLibrary. If you borrow a title, make sure to remove holds you may have on our other digital platforms!
