Keep underappreciated books healthy!

Part of the fun of being a librarian is reviewing the books in our collection and checking on how long it has been since they left the shelf. Sometimes you find some sleepers that, for one reason or another, have been neglected. Recently, I was in the medical section – usually not the place to find a scintillating read, but a few caught my eye that seemed like they had promise.

The Medical Detectives by Berton Roueche
The Pact : three young men make a promise and fulfill a dream by Drs. Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt
Monkeyluv : and other essays on our lives as animals by Robert M. Sapolsky
Five Quarts: A Personal and Natural History of Blood by Bill Hayes
Home Spa by Anne Harding
