  Certainly a staff development day is a good thing, but why must it be held on one of the three days that the West Branch is open?

  Dear Cecile,
  We regret any inconvenience that our closing because of our annual staff development day might have caused the public. Our annual staff development day has always been held on a Wednesday sometime from mid to late August. Unfortunately, we had booked all the speakers prior to learning what our reduced operating hours would be for the West Branch. Rest assured that we will be taking the Branch hours into consideration for next year’s staff development day.
