It is with great pleasure that we announce that our very own library director, Denise van Zanten, has been recently named one of two New Hampshire Library Directors of the Year! This award is given by the New Hampshire Library Trustees Association. The board chose Denise because she “went above and beyond the call of duty… from working with difficult budgets to dealing with moving books on weekends after heavy rains and flooding.” We are very proud of Denise and congratulate her on her fine achievement.
An award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00 PM. So please join us for the award ceremony and a small reception, which will be held following the ceremony in the main library’s Rotunda. Congratulations, Denise!
