Looking for something to do nearby without spending a lot of money?

When outside this summer you may find plants, trees, wildlife and birds. You may walk on the rail trails and wonder which trains passed through the area long ago.  If you like exploring cemeteries you will find famous people, gravestone art, or maybe family history.  There are rivers and lakes, interesting buildings, and statues in the parks. There is so much to do right here in Manchester.

Are you curious?  Are you wondering what to do with all those questions?  Why not visit the New Hampshire Room at the Manchester City Library.  You will find answers to your questions and read about life in the Manchester long ago.

If your journey leads you outside of the city you will find information on other areas of New Hampshire.  Don’t stay indoors this summer.  Go outside and enjoy the season, get some exercise and learn something new about your surroundings. You may be surprised at what you find!
