Fall Auction Extravaganza

On Wednesday October 3rd, 2012, the Manchester City Library Foundation will be hosting its first auction at the Carpenter Memorial Library. The Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to help support our libraries and to enhance library services. The Foundation Board is pleased that James St. Jean of JSJ Auctions has volunteered his services to run the auction. The Foundation thanks their corporate sponsors: Members First Credit Union, Howe, Riley & Howe PPLC, and Kazan, Shaughnessy, Kasten & McDonald for their generous support of the event. The evening will start at 5 pm with refreshments and a cash bar provided by Jerome’s Deli. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Auction items as of September 21st include:

Sports Memorabilia including a Rob Gronkowski jersey, a Larry Bird basketball, a Jason Variteck baseball bat, a signed Bruins team picture; and a pair of Tiger Wood’s gloves.

Sports Tickets: a Fisher Cats suite for one game; and two tickets to the New England Patriots game on December 30th donated by Merrimack Mortgage Company.

Restaurant Gift Certificates from: The Copper Door, The Puritan Backroom, Cactus Jacks/T-Bones, Saffron Bistro, and Pappy’s Pizza & Family Restaurant.

Gift Certificates for: horseback riding lessons from the Toli Family ; a yoga class at White Swan Yoga; an hour of relaxation at Massage by Jane; a personal trainer session at Prestige Fitness; a fine choice of services at the Radiant Nails & Spa; a dinner party for 8 by Jerome’s Deli; a family portrait by Juliana; a head shot by Todd Ward Photography; admission to show a horse at Oak Rise Farm; membership at LaBelle Wineries Vineyard; Palace Theatre tickets; and detailing at Concord Auto Spa.

Baskets: a Wine Basket from Philip Mark Salon; a basket of fresh produce from Middle Branch Farm; and a cooperative share for 2013, also from the Middle Branch Farm.

And: a Set of Homemade Fly Fishing Ties; a Programmable Thermostat from J.A. Marino Automatic Heating Co; an Engravable Clock by Harris Trophy; a large Mum Basket from Farm and Flower Market; and Autographed Books by Robert B. Parker, Linda Greenlaw, Jane Cleland, Linda Barnes, Brendan DuBois and Chris Bohjalian.
